Behaviour and Conduct

  • Be considerate of others when making noise.
  • Cease all creative activities at least 15 minutes before the end of a session to allow time for cleaning and storing work.

  • Should you have any concerns regarding the behaviour of others, please contact a member of the Helgate team.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to individuals or groups displaying disruptive or offensive behaviour.

Facilities

  • The kitchen is accessible from 10 AM to 7 PM. Ensure the area is left clean after use. Please do not use any part of the kitchen that is marked private.

Firing and Kilns

  • Experimental materials must be approved by a Helgate team member before firing.
  • Do not touch or place items on the kilns, as they become hot during use.

  • Wash away glazes and oxides in the designated glaze room wash bucket.
  • Place used kitchenware in the sink or dishwasher.
  • Report full bins to a Helgate team member or empty them into outdoor bins.

Storage

  • Communal items stored in shared areas are available for everyone; Helgate reserves the right to manage these spaces.
